NOTE: This software upgrade is included in your annual subscription. To successfully install v8.0, please carefully follow these instructions:

Profiles Professional v8.0 Installation Instructions (PDF 100K)

Once you have installed v8.0, you will need to manually upgrade each client case. The plans you had created in v7.6 will look different when you access them in v8.0; therefore, it is strongly recommended that you give yourself time to review each plan before presenting to clients.

Authorize your software

1. Download v8.0 (below).

2. Obtain an authorization key via email. In the software, go to the Help menu; click Authorize. Then click Copy , create an email, and paste the site code into the subject line of your email. Send the email to authorizations@eisi.com.

3. Enter the authorization key in Profiles Professional. You will receive the site code via return email within 1-2 business days.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL V8.0:

Ensure you have approval from your home office and/or compliance department before installing v8.0. If you have questions or concerns in this regard, please contact your home office.

Client files created in v7.6 will continue to be available in v8.0. Before you install v8.0, it is recommended that you back-up your client files.

Installation Instructions:	Browse to the location on your computer where you downloaded the update file; double-click the file Professional_8.0.40.5.exe A Security Warning will appear saying: The Publisher Could Not Be Verified. Click Run The necessary files to begin your installation will be extracted to a temporary folder and the Installation Wizard will start up. (If extraction does not begin immediately Click Setup.) On the Welcome screen, Click Next On the License Agreement screen, select I accept On the Destination screen, specify the directory for the installation. (it is recommended that you choose C:\Fpw); Click Next On the Summary Screen you will see the installation destination, and the installation type. Click Install The installation process will begin When the installation is complete, click Finish When launching the software for the first time you will be prompted with the message: The program is authorized to run only in Evaluation mode. You can run the program now, or go to the License dialog to Authorize or Re-Authorize the program for full use. Do you wish to go to the License dialog? YES or NO If you are evaluating select NO and the software will launch in Evaluation Mode If you are Authorizing or Re-Authorizing then select YES and the authorization screen will appear along with instruction on how to authorize.
