What’s new in 4.2
Highlights
- Performance – A new underlying technology and architecture has been implemented resulting in significantly faster data entry, page-to-page transitions, and Web-based report generation.
- Usability – A refreshed user interface includes new fonts, colors, navigation techniques, and hover-over text and icons that improve readability, navigation, and usability.
- Client Presentations – New functionality enables advisors to quickly and easily create, save, manage, and access their client presentations. Enhancements include new search and filtering capabilities, the ability to select and arrange reports, new presentation templates, and a new display mode for users of the desktop platform.
- Just-in-Time training videos –New videos are available to help users get acquainted with key features, including an introductory Guided Tour video, and a Client Presentation video to help users build client presentations and custom templates.

New in Profiles Forecaster v4.2
New system requirements
Web format only
To optimize the new Client Presentation screen in Profiles Forecaster v4.2, it is recommended that you install Microsoft® Silverlight™. A free download is available at: http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/default.aspx
Desktop format only
Profiles Forecaster v4.2 runs on Microsoft Windows XP™, Vista™, and Windows 7™ operating systems. The Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system is no longer actively supported. As well, Adobe Reader 6.0 is required, at a minimum, for client reports.
